DENISON - Mabel Christensen Green, 100-year-old Denison resident, passed away Friday March 29, 2013 at her residence.|
Services wi be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday April 2 at the First Christian Churchh in Denison with Reverend Steve Chambers, senior minister of the church, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Green was born on September 16, 1912 in Jamestown, Kan., daughter of Harold and Maren Christensenn. She graduated from school in Enid, Okla. She married William Curtis Bill Green on Oct. 11, 1930 in End, Okla. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1994.
Mrs Green was a housewife and a member of Firt Christian Church the Christian Women's Fellowship, Retired Railroad NARVRE and AARP.
Pallbearers wi be, Kenneth Ray Green, Matthew Green, Christopher Green, Larry Nevil, Nathan Donohoe and Andy Beene.
Mrs. Green is survived by her son, Bill Green and wife Lilan of Lake Lavon; daughters, Carolyn Keith and husband Sonny of Maumelle, Ark., and Elaine Donohoe and husband Larry of Denison; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandcildre and five great-greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by her best friend, Ann Ray of Denison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents; four brothers; daughter,, Dolores Nevil; and son, Gary Green.
Visitation wil be one or prior t the service at First Christian Church.
