DENISON - Mrs. Marie Elizabeth Anderson, 68, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at her residence in Denison.

She was born to Adolf Maschek and Virgina Lyons Maschek in Broken Bow, Okla. on Nov. 26, 1944.
She worked as a Health Care provider, working for Quality Home Health, loved to fish, was of the Pentecostal faith and always kept an open house to all who came her way.
She had four children, Jessie Smith, deceased, Billy Smith of Sherman, Karen Roan and Johnny of Pottsboro, and Gary Smith of Grayson County.
She has one brother, Edmond Otto Maschek of Broken Bow, Okla.
Her biological grandchildren are Jonathon and Dean Roan of Pottsboro, and Breanna Smith of Denison.
She has numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren.
She also has many other relatives and a host of friends, and special friend, Elizabeth Rick.
Marie was preceded in death by husbands, Jessie Howard Smith, 1976; and Clifton Laverne Anderson, 2000.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Jessie Smith.
Mrs. Anderson's wish was that she be cremated and her ashes buried by her late husband, Jessie and her son, Jessie Leonard in Broken Bow, Okla.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to EPCA (Educator and Parents of Children with Autism). They may be made at any Landmark Bank. Marie was especially proud of Karen's work with organizing the EPCA.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the American Funeral Service Chapel, 4312 W. Crawford St., Denison, With Brother Lowell Howard officiating.
A Visitation time will be held at 1 p.m., just prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
All arrangements under the direction of American Funeral Service of Denison.
