Nancy Bradley Obituary
DELAND, Fla. - Nancy C. Bradley passed away at her DeLand, Fla. home on Saturday, March 3, 2012, surrounded by her family. Nancy was originally from Sherman, and moved to DeLand from Stuart, Fla. in 1984.

She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 38 years, Kenneth E. Bradley; and her children, Jean Lait, Linda Wald and her husband Warren Wald, Steve Bradley and his wife Rachele Bradley, and Mark Bradley; as well as step-grandchildren Tyler and Madison Wald; sister Linda Hedgepath, brother James P. Cockerham; three nieces, four nephews, and numerous grand-nieces and nephews.

Nancy's greatest passion was her family. She also had a passion for bridge and was an accomplished player, having achieved the designation of Silver Life Master of the American Contract Bridge League. Nancy was also a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, a member and former President of the DeLand Bridge Club, and a member and former Moderator of the Board of Deacons of First Presbyterian Church of DeLand. Nancy loved music and taught herself to play classical piano at a young age. She was also an avid reader, and always enjoyed a thirst for knowledge. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Memorial services for Nancy were held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 4 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of DeLand with Rev. Michael Bodger officiating. Special music was played beginning at 3:40 p.m. until service time in her memory. The family requests donations be made to First Presbyterian Church Music Scholarship Fund, 724 N. Woodland Blvd., DeLand, FL 32720 in her memory. Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
