DENISON - Ronald Lee Ennis passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at his home in Denison.

The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 3 - 5 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 7, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 314 N. Rusk Ave. Denison, with Rev. Stephen Mocio officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 1501 Hwy. 91 N, Denison.
Pallbearers will be Mark Dickson, Richard Saltz, Loren Ennis, Vivek Khare´, Larry Wood, Pete McGowan and Ted Truly.
Ron was born May 19, 1963 in Shreveport, La., the son of Ronnie Lee Ennis and Marietta Hodges Ennis. Ron and his family moved to Denison in 1996 from Dallas. He graduated high school in Shreveport, Louisiana; attended LSU-Shreveport and completed his residency in Pathology at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. He attended St. Patrick Catholic Church in Denison; was a member of Grayson County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and College of American Pathologists.
Ron was a person who touched so many people in so many ways. His love of life and family and friends was reflected in thought, words and actions. He was a loving husband and father who always provided the best for his family. Liz and Sarah were the light of his life and he will live on in their hearts forever.
He is survived by wife, Elizabeth Ann Ennis of Denison; father, Ronnie Lee Ennis and wife Terry of Shreveport; mother, Marietta H. Jones of Grand Cane, La.; stepdad, Jack Jones of Grand Cane, La.; stepmother, Gwen Ennis of Shreveport; daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Ennis of Denison; brother, Michael D. Ennis of Flower Mound; step-brothers, Kevin Brehmer and Keith Brehmer, both of Shreveport; sister, Rhonda E. Ennis of Shreveport; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the memorial fund for Sarah Ennis at Landmark Bank, 2820 W. FM Road 120, Denison, TX 75020.
