DENISON - Billie Mae Beene, age 70, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Thursday, May 29, 2014 at her home.|
Mrs. Beene was born November 30, 1943 in Sherman, Texas the daughter of William Leslie and Stella Mae (Franklin) Bond. She married R.B. Beene February 22, 1969 in Sherman, where they lived until 2002 when they moved to Denison.
Her journey through life awarded her with a family full of love and caring devotion. She was without a doubt the love of her husband's life. Undeniably a woman of courage and determination. Her love of family, sense of humor, enjoyment of living in general was displayed right up to the day she received her wings to heaven. Her smile and laughter are unforgettable as we remember the things that brought her cheer.
Mrs. Beene leaves behind her beloved family, husband of 44 years, R. B.""Bubba"" Beene of Denison, sons, Terry Lindsey, Michael Lindsey and Mark Beene; sisters, Claudette Bateman and Sedra Bentley; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cedarlawn Memorial Park Chapel on The Hill. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Fisher Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank Guardian Home Hospice, Dr. Joe Church, and Jimmy and Shirley Andrews for their love, compassion and for taking such wonderful care of Billie.
