DENISON - Robert Earl Waymire, age 67, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at his home in Denison.|
Robert was born February 18, 1947 in Hemmitt, California, the son of Earl Clayton and Emma Louise (Sutherland) Waymire. Mr. Waymire worked as a painting contractor for many years in the Denison area. He attended the River of Life Church in Denison where he would listen to Carol Manery preach and teach God's word. Robert enjoyed spending time on the river with friends whether fishing, hunting, or just enjoying each other's company. Mr. Waymire will be missed deeply by those who knew and loved him.
Mr. Waymire is survived by his loving family, children, Ronald Waymire and wife, Kerri of Colbert, Okla.; Kenneth Waymire of Achille, Okla.; Thomas Waymire and wife, Amy of Denison, Texas.; Angie Waymire of Marysville, Calif.; Robert Waymire Jr. of Marysville, Calif.; Shannon Waymire of Denison, Texas; and J.D. Waymire of Denison, Texas; step-daughters, Laurie and Kim Hobbs, cousin, Chuck Lafoy, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, neohews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Elaine Hensley.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, August 2 at Cederlawn Memorial Park in the Chapel on the Hill. There is no set time for visitation.
