DENISON - Katherine "Ann" (Brooks-Henry-Duckworth) Curtis, 65, of Denison has gone to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Wilson N. Jones in Sherman.
Ann was a life member of Raynal Tabernacle in Denison where her brother Paul Brooks is the pastor. Ann graduated from Denison High School and attended Texas Woman's University. She was a nursing home administrator for more than 20 years.
Ann joined her father, Maurice Brooks, her mother, Katherine Henry, and her husband, Calvin Ray Curtis I in heaven. She will be greatly missed by her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Sharon Brooks of Denison; her children, Mary Saxon of Sherman, Calvin and Linda Curtis of Richardson, Kevin Curtis of Denison, Lorie Curtis of Plainview and Starla Curtis of Denison; her grandchildren, Jennifer O'Toole, John and Krystal Saxon, Michael and Brandi Allen, Shenna Saxon, Trey and Kasie Walker, Michael Curtis, Christine, Jennifer and Adam Redenous and Alex, Josh and Jacob Riches; her great-grandchildren, Logan and Brigette Saxon, Matthew, Daryn and Ryan Allen and Dylan and Kylee O'Toole; her nieces and nephews, Jeff and Kim Cordell, Monty and Lynette Chastain, Lance and Angie Proctor and Kaycee Pinaels.
Funeral services will be held at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home, 631 W. Woodard in Denison, beginning with family night from 6 -8 p.m. on Friday, May 2, and services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3 conducted by Pastor Paul Brooks.
Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Walker, Kermit Hill, Michael Allen, Michael Gorman, Larry Atherton and Eddie Anderson. A private graveside service will be held at the family cemetery in Clarksville.
