I have fond memories of Philip and I strumming our guitars on the deck of our cabin on the McKenzie River in Oregon.
Unfortunately the cabin is now a pile of ashes when it burned in the Holiday Farm Fire last week.
Love,

Dear Sandy and all the Mischkot Family,
I was sadden to loose a great friend. Even though we were miles apart our phone conversations and email letters continued to keep my stong connections with such a wonderful and fun loving guy. Everytime I pick up my guitar I think of the jamming we did on the Mckenzie River. I will be thinking of all of you at the funeral tomorrow. I will be on the river salmon fishing and will look toward the heavens and know that Philip is looking down on all of us. I love and miss all of you.
Heartfelt hugs and prayers to you during this time of sorrow.Know that at the end of this life there is peace beyond the threshold.
With Sympathy,
