BONHAM - Graveside services with military honors for Billy Mack Smith "Dollar Bill," 63, of Bonham will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at Arledge Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Normous Free will officiate the services; military honors will be rendered by the United States Air Force Honor Guard. Mr. Smith passed away on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012 at his residence.
Billy Mack Smith was born on July 22, 1949 in Garland to Carl Edward Smith and Juanita (Osburne) Lander. Mr. Smith served in the United States Air Force, was the manager of Family Dollar before retiring, and was a member of the Cowboy Church of Lamasco.
He is survived by his significant other, Sue Flanery; sons, Marc Smith and wife Jacqueline, and Jeff Smith; daughter, Monica Kelsey and husband Terry; grandchildren, Skyler Smith, Kourtney Kelsey, Christian Kelsey, and Hanna Kelsey; brothers, Rickey Smith and Kenneth Smith; stepsons, Mike Perry and Ricky Perry; step-grandchildren, Morgan Perry, Randy Perry, Brittney Perry, Devin Perry, and Emily Perry; father, Carl Edward Smith; and mother and stepfather, Juanita and Hilbert Lander.
Family visitation will be held from 6 -8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
