Beverly Glade Obituary
Beverly was born Oct. 23, 1922 in Maywood, Ill. to the late William and Frances (Skrine) VanFossen. On Aug. 5, 1939, Beverly and Harold Glade were married in Wheaton, Ill. They enjoyed 46 years of marriage until his death in 1985. Beverly was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed reading, gardening, and watching western movies.
Mrs. Glade is survived by four grandchildren, Deborah Remezani of Denison, Matthew Bass of Kentucky, Brian Bass of Fulton, Mo., and Chrissy Collins of Sherman; eight great-grandchildren, including Amanda and Felicity Remezani, Katy and Jeffrey Collins, Tabitha Zarr, Christopher Bass; Brian and Christopher Bass; one brother, Thomas E. Gaffney and his family of Sherman; and her beloved chihuahua, Peaches. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and three children, Harold Richard Glade, Edward Martin Glade, and Patricia Lynn Bass.

In the time I've known Beverly, she shared many life stories. From childhood through her 90 years. She was a great historian & story teller. What I admired most about her was her "tell it like it is" attitude. I knew her through tears & laughter. She was a classy lady. I'm proud to have known her. I know y'all will miss her. My thoughts & prayers are with all of you.
