SHERMAN - Frank John Jacob, 67, of Sherman passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Sherman.

Frank was born Aug. 14, 1945 in El Paso to John Frank and Josepha Jacob. He graduated from Denison High School as well as the University of Texas-Arlington. He married Diana (Pat) Smith on Feb. 10, 1972. Frank was the Superintendent of Water Production for the City of Sherman, and retired in 2001 after 30 years. He then went on to operate, Starr Water Supply Corp for six years.
Frank was an avid gun collector and loved all things outdoors. You could always count on him to be at an antique tractor or gun show. Frank loved learning the processes and interworkings of anything and everything from ketchup to the Hoover Dam! Frank never met a stranger and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Frank is survived by his wife of 41 years Diana (Pat) Jacob; two sons, Jason and wife Paige Jacob, and Ryan Jacob all of Sherman. He is also survived by three granddaughters; Jordan, Raegan, and Madison Jacob, and one great- grandson, Brantley Smith.
