Sandra Smith Obituary
DENTON - Sandra Kay Smith of Denton passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 10 a.m. in Pioneer Cemetery in Graham, Texas under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Sandra was born on Jan. 28, 1964 in Kermit to Gene and Norma Kay Smith.

She attended Humble Smith School in Snyder, and was active in the Texas Special Olympics, the Denton Bell Band and Oak Street Baptist Church. She worked for a number of years for Presco Manufacturing and for Goodwill Industries where she was awarded employee of the year.

She is survived by her guardians, Don and Ramona Davis of Denton; aunts, Rose Wilton and husband Frank, Gail George and husband Bill, Sue Glimore and husband Darrell all of Graham and, Jeanette Hardway and Mary Hardway of Zona, W.Va.; uncles Roger Smith of Michigan, Ron Smith of Florida, Don Smith of Kentucky, Tom Smith of West Virginia and Dannie Smith of Spencer, W.Va.; and a host of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Norma McCawley Smith of Spencer, W.Va.; maternal grandparents, Ellis and Fern McCawley of Graham; and paternal grandparents Bert and Dessie Smith of Zona, W.Va.

Memorials may be made in her name to the , Denton Bell Band or Texas Special Olympics.
