Elnora Jonell Doshier, age 91, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Texoma Medical Center surrounded by children.
Jonell was born on Sunday, May 16, 1926 in Self, Texas the daughter of Charlie and Ethel (Stone) Wylie. Over the years she worked for Safeway and Wal-Mart.
Jonell leaves behind a great legacy of memories that includes fun times, laughter, and an endless amount of love and caring for everyone in her life. She was a loyal friend to many people and was devoted to her family and faith. She had an incredible bond with her grandchildren and loved them with all her heart. Jonell had a deep and life long relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ who was a tremendous comfort and resource for her. Jonell enjoyed nothing more than preparing a great meal and enjoying it with her family which usually meant making enough for an army. Nobody can match Mom's Chocolate Pie! Her love knew no bounds and she shared it with all those around her. Her family and friends will celebrate her life the way she wanted - loving one another, enjoying things that create laughter and taking time to enjoy the simple things in life every day.
Being a brave, resourceful, and courageous woman she single handedly brought up seven children. She lived her life witnessing for our Lord; reading her bible every day and being a strong prayer warrior.
Jonell leaves behind her beloved family, her children, David Doshier, Darla Doshier, Gale Doshier Wood, Cathy Doshier, Raymond Doshier, Doss Doshier and Gay Nell Doshier; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and sister, Audra Williams and much loved nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at River Pointe Church. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to service time at the church to visit and share fond memories.

To the Doshier Family (Gandy St)
My Sister ( Angela), my Brother (Steven) and myself (Joyce Ann) extend to you our heartfelt sympathy. As we remember your Mother; a kindhearted gentle Soul. We shared our backyards together; attended Raynal as kids and we knew each other by our "street name", Sears St was ours. As you may know; our Beloved Mother transitioned in 2013. We encourage you all the moreso to "...look to hills from whence cometh your help." It is our desire that God will comfort and strengthen you during this time and in the days thereafter. Be Encouraged; for we know that "...absent with the body; means presence with the Lord." And we will rejoice as the Angels in Heaven are that Mrs. Jonell is in God's loving care. You will be in our prayers.
