Robert L. Defibaugh Jr.

WINNSBORO — Funeral services for Mr. Robert L. Defibaugh, Jr., age 73, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at First Church of the Nazarene in Winnsboro. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Pope Funeral Home in Winnsboro.

Mr. Defibaugh was called home on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Born in Caldwell, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Defibaugh, Sr. and Margaret Hylton Defibaugh. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Winnsboro and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his loving wife Velma B. Defibaugh, Mr. Defibaugh is survived by two daughters; Denise Defibaugh Smith (Robert) of Montcalm, W. Va., Debra Defibaugh Wilson (John) also of Montcalm, W.Va., three brothers; William T. Defibaugh (Rachel) of Caldwell, W.Va, Jerry W. Defibaugh (Ida) of Free Union, Va., and Richard E. Defibaugh (Sharon) of Crozet, Va., three sisters; Esther Jones of Prince George, Va., Ruby Whanger (John) of Clintonville, W.Va., and Glenna Sams of Waynesboro, Va., four grandchildren; Robert and Matthew Defibaugh, Alice White, Kendall Wilson, and one great grandchild, Auroa White. Mr. Defibaugh is predeceased by one son, Robert L. Defibaugh, III.
