Winnsboro —Funeral services for Mrs. Frances B. Timms, 84, were held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Fairfield Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
The family received friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
Mrs. Timms passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014.
Born in Richland County, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Ruth Anderson Broome. Mrs. Timms loved her family and her work.
She was a nurse and retired from the Department of Mental Health.
Mrs. Timms leaves behind a loving family including four sons, Barney "Andy" Timms (Janice), Paul S. Timms, William Timms (Leslie), and Sam F. Timms (Brenda); three daughters, Margie T. Johnson (Stan), Diane T. Moore (Oscar), and Debra T. Woodruff (Warren); one brother, William Broome; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, Barney J. Timms, Mrs. Timms is predeceased by one sister, Birdie B. Wilkes.
The family wishes to thank all of the caregivers who over the years, have cared for and loved Mrs. Timms and have become part of the family.
