Gardner, Eunice Evelyn  
Eunice Evelyn Gardner passed away peacefully on July 14, 2015, at the age of 85. Eunice lived at Brookdale-Arbor Place in Silver Lake, Wash. She was born on April 8, 1930, in Montreal, Canada. Eunice was the youngest of nine siblings. Eunice came to the US at the age of 20 with her family and settled in Los Angeles, Calif. Soon after, she met her husband of 35 years, Carl D. Gardner who passed away in 1988. She was also preceded in death by seven of her siblings. In 1988, Eunice moved to Kent, Wash. and in 2001 moved to Everett, Wash. She worked most of her life as a telemarketer and was very successful until the company she worked for had to close. She was 77 at the time of her retirement. She would have continued working but her failing eyesight kept her from dialing the phone. Eunice is survived by her three children: son, Lloyd and wife, Donna Gardner of Everett; son, Mark and wife, Kathy Gardner of Maple Valley, Wash., and daughter, Mary Gardner Hume and husband, Ricardo of Buenos Aires, Argentina; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and one sister. A memorial service will be held 1:30 pm Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Brookdale-Arbor Place 12806 Bothell Everett Hwy, Everett, WA 98208. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Glaser, Jerry  
Jerry Allen Glaser, a known conversationalist from Everett, Wash. was born March 2, 1939, to Gustave and Martha Glaser in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He died after his battle with ALS on July 17, 2015. He is survived by his children, Michelle (Todd) Nelson, Mike (Ariel) Glaser, Mark (Margie) Glaser, Marty (Tamera) Glaser, and Marcia (Brandon) Winslow; and his siblings: brother, Don (Gayle) Glaser, and sisters, Martha (Denise) Schwan, and Gloria (Allen) Zeller. A celebration of his life and potluck will be held at Forest Park, Everett WA on September 19, 2015, at 1 p.m. A plaque mounting memorial will be held in South Dakota in early June 2016.

Grandy, Christy Lynn  
Christy Lynn Grandy passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Garfield County Hospital in Pomeroy, WA. She was born to Jim and Barbara (Alderman) Moore on January 25, 1958, in Walla Walla, Wash. She attended school in Milton-Freewater, Ore., graduating in 1976. She married Dan Grandy on January 22, 1982. They lived in Connecticut, Key West and Fort Lauderdale, Fla, where they worked for Boater's World before moving to Pomeroy. She worked as dietary aide at Garfield County Hospital at the time of her death. She had a love for monkeys and all of the seasons and holidays. She loved crafting and decorating. She loved living in Florida and vacationing in Hawaii. She is survived by her loving husband, Danny at their home in Pomeroy; stepdaughter, Michelle Grandy of Bellingham, Wash.; parents, Ivan and Barbara Bingman of Pomeroy; mother-in-law, Jean Grandy of Everett, Wash.; sister-in-law, Barbara Grandy of Everett; sister, Connie Niebel (Ron) of Clarkston, Wash.; step-brother, Bob Bingman (Teresa) of Pomeroy; step-siste,r Melody Jones (Steve) of Walla Walla; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her father, James Moore; and brother, Jerry Moore. Christy is loved and missed by all of us. A private memorial service will be held at Cypress Lawn in Everett. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
