Albert J. Weir, 93 passed away at home in Everett.
He served as a PFC in the Army during WWII in Asiatic Pacific and the Philippines. Albert worked in C.C. Camp, Hulberts Mill; drove for Rowland Richfield Oil, Everett Bottling Co. and a salesman for Crown Distribution. He was an avid Husky fan, loved basketball and baseball. He loved tending the flower garden for V.F.W for years. Albert was a life-time member of the V.F. W. 2100 Post and Elks Club 479 and a member of Club 170, 24 Hour Fitness and Normana Hall.
He is survived by daughter, Norma Enberg (Mick) of Everett; son, Jerry Weir (Margaret Littlefield) of Grants Pass, Oregon; stepchildren, Steve (Karen) Costa of Reno, Nevada, Nicolette Costa of Montesano, WA; grandkids, Lance, Cliff and Stacy Bedingfield, Darcy Allen (Lyle); Jerry Weir, Jr. (Linda) and Jeff Weir (Kalei) of Hawaii and Amy Whitney (Tim); great grandkids, Payton Dozark of Everett, and Keanon Dozark of Alaska, Lexxa Allen, Brendan and Kirsten Weir, La A Kia Weir of Hawaii, Tyler and Sam Whitney.
He is predeceased by Ella Costa Weir in 2005, and Jennifer Bedingfield in 2001.
A Memorial and Potluck will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the V. F. W. post 2100, 2711 Oakes Ave., Everett.
