Catherine "Katie" M. (Martinis) Bopp

Catherine "Katie" M. (Martinis) Bopp passed away peacefully in Yuma, Arizona on March 14, 2013 to be with her Lord and Savior.
Catherine Marie Martinis was born to Paul Sr. and Pearl Martinis on January 20, 1936 in Everett, Washington.
Katie graduated from Everett High School. Everett was where she worked and raised her four children. She worked as an elementary school secretary 17 years. She married her husband Roger in 1982, and then worked at their business, Roger's Carpets until they retired. Katie loved the outdoors that called her near the water. In her younger years she enjoyed water-skiing, water ski-jumping and teaching others to swim in Lake Stevens, Washington, where her parents had a summer home. She was involved in The Everett Yacht Club, The Elks Club, several RV clubs, spent winters in Yuma where she and Roger eventually called home. This is where she fell in love with God and became an active member at Gila Mountain United Methodist Church.
Katie was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Inman; parents, Paul Sr. and Pearl Martinis; sister, Winifred Riecken; brothers, Vince, Paul Jr. and John Martinis.
Our beautiful Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother is survived by her loving husband of thirty years, Roger Bopp; her daughters, Carrie (Gerry) Thompson, Catherine Inman, Cheri (Jim) Tri, Roger (Judy) Bopp Jr., Arlene (Steve) Gilleland, Randy Bopp and Bonni (Gary) Shafer; 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grand-children; her brother, Dr. Andrew (Magna) Martinis all of Washington State.
Roger and all his family want to thank each and everyone who supported us in prayer, cards and thoughts.
A celebration of life will be held for Katie at Marysville United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 1 .pm. located at 5600 64th St NE, Marysville, WA 98270.
