Christine taught business subjects at Darrington High School until she retired in 1980. She loved teaching and was always willing to give the extra attention that a student needed. She fondly referred to all of her students as her "kids". In the classroom, she was always professional and expected the same from her students. Besides teaching she loved music. She played the piano/organ for the church and many weddings and funerals. After retirement she spent many happy years playing piano for the gospel quartet the Harmonaires which included her husband, Weldon. Christine's children would like to give a special thanks to Robin Wood for everything she did for our Mother!
