To most she was simply "Oma", a woman who found solace in God, family, friends, and playing dolls with her Schatzie and her Mukuschula. Outside of these, she enjoyed nothing more than endless conversations with friends, traveling back to Drackenstein every year and dressing up for special occasions. Her quick-wit, stubborn determination and cure-all concoctions will be sorely missed. Few knew how to prepare a meal, plant a flower or care for a child as she did.
Oma always said we could look for her dancing on the clouds, finally cancer free and fancy footed. We'll miss you, Oma!
Doris's Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Comcast Arena on the second floor in Everett Washington.
