Gloria passed away peacefully March 15, 2013. She was born January 24, 1929 at Providence Hospital in Everett to Robert and Hazel Hunt.
Gloria was raised in Everett, attended Everett High School, graduating in 1947. Starting at a very young age, Gloria was an accomplished dancer and baton twirler. She left behind a wonderful scrapbook of all her accomplishments as a young girl. In the 1947 Nesika, next to Gloria's name it says "Cover Girl". She was Drum Majorette, Queen of the March of Dimes, a member of TFC, and played the clarinet.
On February 26, 1947 she married Jack Wells. Their daughter Candy was born in 1948 and Sandy was born in 1949. Their girls were raised in Everett. In 1967 the family moved to Marysville.
Gloria worked at many of the Everett Service Clubs, including the Country Club, Yacht Club, Elks and the VFW, while raising her girls. Once the family moved to Marysville, Gloria retired.
Gloria loved her cats, gardening, big band music, and all the new friends she made at Merrill Gardens the past three years.
Gloria leaves behind her daughter, Candy Wells-Sehorn; her grandsons, Kevin Berry, Brian Johnson, Jake Sehorn and Brad Johnson; son-in-law, Mike Johnson; great grandchildren, Brian Smith, Elle Sehorn and Taryn Berry; and sister, Pam Kallicott and Melody Boswick.
At Gloria's request there will be no formal service.
