Gwendolyn Tuininga

Gwendolyn "Betty" (Hunter) Tuininga passed away on February 3, 2014. She was born in Electra, TX on October 12, 1928 and moved to Everett as a young girl. She retired from SuperMedia (GTE Directories) in January, 1992, after 25 years of service. She was an avid quilter, seamstress, and wonderful cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean, of 63 years. She is survived by her two daughters: Katheryn Tuininga, Jackie (Jim) Thomas; her four grandchildren: Brandon (Courtney) Thomas, Jason Thomas, Amanda (Russell) Brown and Emilea Thomas; her four great-grandchildren: Brydon and Gwen Thomas, Avery and Allison Brown; and many nieces and nephews. The family will be hosting an open house to celebrate her life on Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Tuininga residence.
