Irving K. Tellesbo Sr.

After a long, hard, courageous battle with many medical issues, Irv passed away peacefully on September 18, 2013, with his family at his side. He enjoyed life to the fullest, he loved riding horse, camping, hiking, and mountain climbing; most of all he enjoyed doing activities with his family. Irv was born and raised in Everet,t WA on June 2, 1933. He moved to Darrington in 1974, where he lived until his death. Irv was preceded in death by both parents, and two infant brothers when he was a young man. And recently, his step son, Bill Christianson. He is survived by a brother, Allen (Nina)Tellesbo; his loving wife of the last 25 years, Nancy Tellesbo; sons, Irving Jr. (Patty) Tellesbo, John (Sue) Tellesbo; daughters, Betty (John) Troutman, Sue (Luke) Agnew, and Teresa Cook; step sons, Duane (Alice) McFall, Brent McFall, Eric Christianson, and Mark Christianson; step daughters, Kim (Rick) Mustard, Janine (Denny) Cabe; 23 g randchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and many great friends. Irv graduated from Everett High School. He joined the Naval Reserves and was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Boys Scouts of America, Everett Mountaineers, and Darrington Horse Owners Association. He retired in 1998 after 30+ years from Puget Sound Log Scaling and Grading Bureau. A special thanks to all the doctors and nurses that helped care for him the last few years.
