James Donaldson

James Donaldson passed away peacefully at his home on October 2, 2013. Jim, the eldest of six sons, was born on October 12, 1920 to David and Christina Donaldson in Tayport, Scotland. He is survived by his wife, Edna; daughter, Carron (Carlos); granddaughter, Marcela; brother, Bob, in Scotland; and many nieces and nephews. Jim served in the British Army in World War II from 1939 to 1946. He was a survivor of Dunkirk and served four years in North Africa where he was one of Monty's Desert Rats. Jim had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes, of which he had an endless supply to his friends. He will be missed. At Jim's request no service will be held. The family wishes to thank the wonderful and caring support provided by Providence Hospice, especially Amber and Trinidad.
