John H. Lindborg

John H. Lindborg

The kind and beautiful soul of Jack Lindborg left this earth on December 2, 2012. He was born January 25, 1923 in Hartford, WA, the fourth child of Fred and Nellie Lindborg.
He is survived by his wife, Mona of Marysville; his daughter, Judi (Charles) Gilmore; and grandson, John (Amy) Johnson of Yakima; and his daughter, Jeanne (Don) Sundet of Chinook, WA. He is also survived by brothers, Dick (Audrey) and Val (Joy) Lindborg; and many nieces and nephews. His passing is deeply mourned by Mona's family, who loved Jack dearly.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Flora Borchgrevink and Gladys Johnson; and by brothers, Bill and Ole Lindborg.
An unassuming hero, Jack was a veteran of WWII, and a POW of Nazi Germany.
Jack passed, as he lived, in quiet, modest dignity.
He has requested there be no services. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Volunteers of America. No flowers, please.
Smile when you think of Jack, a precious treasure, gone from earthly sight.
Rest in peace my love.
