Joseph (Joe) Lepo

Joe Lepo,, 85, died at his home May 18, 2013 with his beloved family at his side, wife, Bessie of 63 years, Ricky Joe (Angel) and Charlie (Bonnie). He was born April 4, 1928 in Nevis, Minnesota to Joe and Mary Lepo, the fifth of eleven children. He joined the Marine Corps in 1946 and served in the Korean War where he was wounded and spent nine months in the hospital for his injuries. After discharge he worked as a Machinist in the Seattle, Everett area for forty years, where he raised his two boys. He loved to go hunting, fishing, camping and work in the woods. "The CHAIN SAW was his favorite tool!"
In later years he retired to Sequim, WA where they built their dream home and lived for twenty years.
With declining health of both Joe and Bessie, they moved to Marysville area to be closer to their sons and families.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie; sons, Ricky Joe
(Angel), Charlie (Bonnie); grandchildren, Jeremy,
Joseph, Sheriah, Lacey, Shelbie, Jessica, Connie, Elena and Veronica; numerous great grandchildren; brother, John (Dorothy) of Ohio; three sisters, Vicky of Wenatchee, WA Lorraine of Spokane, WA and Joanne of Sandpoint, ID.
His parents, two brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 1 p.m., Crystal Tree Village Clubhouse, 16600 25th Ave. NE, Marysville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veteran's Administration.
