Kathryn Ann (Lumsden) Johnson

January 28, 1950 - Sept. 25, 2013 Kathryn was born in Everett to the late Laurence and Theresa Lumsden, of Edmonds, Washington. She graduated from Edmonds High School in 1968. Kathy worked for over 30 years at Continental Baking Co. in Seattle. Her last few years were spent working as a courier for Veterinary hospitals in Skagit, Island and Snohomish Counties, which allowed Kathryn to be around the animals that she had always loved so much. She treasured being with friends and family and traveling with her husband, Bob. Kathryn's kind, gentle and caring manner touched everyone around her. We will miss her sense of humor, her willingness to help the less fortunate and her love of life. Kathryn is survived by husband, Bob; stepson, Chris; sister, Dianne (Mike); brother, Doug (Lori); numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom adored her and will miss her greatly. We would be remiss if we didn't mention her special felines Samson and Cupcake, both of whom she loved deeply. A small service will be held at Rose Hill Community Center, Mukilteo, Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the N.O.A.H. animal shelter in Stanwood.
