Kristin Gayle Grace

Kristin Gayle Grace of Lynden passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 in Bellingham, WA. She was born in Tacoma, Washington on October 28, 1946 to James H. and Edna C. Oxley who preceded her in death. She taught elementary grades in the Ferndale school district for 31 years, retiring November 1, 2001. Kristin's activities and interests were many and varied. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the church Guild, Emblem Club #489 of Bellingham Elks Club #194, and the Antique Automobile Restorers Club of Bellingham. She was also a participant and judge of Whatcom in Bloom as well as a member of Washington Educational Retirees Association. In addition to flowers, she was also a lover of cats. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, William Alan Grace; sisters, Sharon P. Hestdalen, Cynda M. and husband, Frank Webb; sister-in-law, Carol and husband, Lee Abbott, Betty Grace-Mann and husband, Bob Mann, six nephews and five nieces.
