Larry Buford Soderblom

Larry Buford Soderblom was born in Everett, July 18, 1937 and went to be with our Lord on September 26, 2013. Larry lived in Lake Stevens, WA for 49 years. He served in the U.S. Army for two and a half years. In 1956 he married Gwendolyn. Larry worked for Weyerhaeuser, Everett, Plywood and Door and Dunn Lumber, retiring in the year 2000. Larry enjoyed fishing and tending his orchard of 65 fruit trees. He also loved his workshop and making wood projects for all of us. He was a member of the Snohomish Lapidary Club, going on rock hunting trips. Larry loved the Lord and was a member of the Lake Stevens Assembly of God Church where he was an active part of the music program playing his guitar and singing. The last few years he grew garlic and was known as the garlic man. He is survived by his wife of 56 ½ years, Gwendolyn Soderblom; daughters, Jody Wittenbarger and Lorrie Mullins; granddaughters, Jammie, Dawn and Denise; grandson, Chris; six great grandchildren; brother, Lorren Soderblom; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Evergeen Hospice or Lake Stevens Assembly of God, 9805 31st Pl. NE, Lake Stevens, WA 98258. The family would like to thank Evergreen Hospice for the loving care they gave Larry. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013, 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, Snohomish, followed by a potluck at the Assembly of God church at 1 p.m.
