Larry Clark Hoover
Larry Clark Hoover went home to be with his Lord on April 19, 2013. He was born a twin in Tacoma, WA to parents, Harold and
Naomi Hoover on October 17, 1930.
Larry graduated from
Stadium High School in
Tacoma in 1948, earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Puget Sound in 1952 and went
on to earn his post graduate degree graduating from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1956. He had a medical practice in Edmonds for 44 years and was a beloved doctor to his many patients.
Larry enjoyed yard work, camping, hiking, traveling, and most importantly, time with his family. Throughout the years vacations to Mt. Rainier, Ocean Shores and Disneyland were traditions the family looked forward
to and became cherished memories spent together. He will be remembered
for his sense of humor, quick wit, intelligence, friendliness, warm smile and generous spirit. Larry had a positive outlook on life and a strong faith and was an active member
of Shoreline Community Church.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Regina; and his youngest daughter, Crystal.
He is survived by his wife, of nearly 40 years, Sharon; children, Karen (Joe) Klinker, Diane Hoover, Janet (Joe) Macher, Jennifer (Greg) Vigoren, Tami (Steve) Martin, Carrie (Sean) Bresler, Sonja (Dave) Siemering, Michael Hoover, Stephanie Hoover, Joshua (Leah) Hoover, Natalia (Dean) Hoque; 19 grand-children and three great-grandchildren; his twin brother, Lon (lyn) Hoover; two nieces; and one great-niece.
He leaves a huge hole in the lives of his family and friends but we take comfort in knowing we will reunite with him again in Heaven.
A memorial service will be held May 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Shoreline Community Church 125 NE 185th St., Shoreline.
