Lois Prater

Rev. Lois Prater

Rev. Lois Prater of Snohomish, WA went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 10, 2013. She was 100 years old.
Lois was born on July 17, 1912 to Rev. Jacob and Gertrude Secrist, she was one of four children.
On February 22, 1936, Lois married Gaylon Prater and together they had three children, Barbra, Bonnie and JoAnn. When Lois was 76 years old, she felt called by God to start an orphanage in the Philippines, so she sold everything she had and went by faith into the mission field where she worked for 13 years doing the Lord's work by feeding and clothing and schooling children at her orphanage, King's Garden Children's Home.
A memorial service is being held for Lois on Saturday, January 26, 2013, 11a.m. at Lake Stevens Assembly of God in Lake Stevens, WA. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Children's Home. Make checks out to Lake Stevens Assembly of God with note to go to King's Garden Children's Home.
