Marianne Jean Chester
Marianne Jean Chester, age 75, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2013 at Providence Hospital. She was born to Benjamin and Katherine (Teeny) Chester on August 12, 1937 in Everett, Washington, the youngest of six siblings. She lived most of her life in the Everett/Snohomish area, graduating from Everett High School in 1955, where she served as secretary of her class, and continued to be involved in planning class reunions.
She worked at GHEE Credit Union, BG's and Alpine Restaurants, and Kalmus Engineering. Marianne loved to travel and ski, laugh and dance and was passionate about her friends and family.
She is survived by her children, Maureen (Jim) Welborn, Monte Christianson, Marvin Christianson, and Mark (Teresa) Christianson; four grandchildren; her sister, Swanee (Dutch) Labsch; and 20 nieces and nephews.
Marianne will be interred at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Everett, near her parents and brother, Robert (Doreen) Chester.
A memorial will be held on March 2, 2013, 1-4 p.m. at Hogland House, 917 Webster St, Mukilteo, 98275.
