Michael D. Gandee
Michael D. Gandee, 63, of Lake Stevens, WA passed away December 15, 2012. He was born June 17, 1949 in Everett, WA to Fontelle and Dale Gandee.
Mike graduated from Snohomish High School in 1968. He and Kay were married in 1974 in Quincy, WA. Kay passed away in 2003. He worked as a forklift mechanic for over 40 years and retired in 2009.
Mike was a member of Lake Stevens Lions Club, and the Lake Stevens Junior Athletic Association as a coach. He loved fishing, sporting events, and volunteering.
He is survived by his son, Kurt Gandee of Mill Creek; step-daughters, Heidi Baisinger of Everett, and Gretchen (Chris) Day of Carnation; brothers, Rick (Nancy) Gandee of Moses Lake and Jerry (Linda) Gandee; grandchildren, Taz Torres, and Emelia Day; his significant other, Tambre Taylor; and numerous and nephews.
He was predeceased by mother, Fontelle Gandee; father, Dale Gandee; wife, Kay Gandee; nephew, Alex Troupe; and grandparents, Earl and Marie Kell and Visa and Ernst Gandee.
A memorial service will be at the Bridge Church, 2500 Lake Ave., Snohomish, WA 98290 on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.
Private Burial will be held at the G.A.R. Cemetery.
