Muriel Montgomery, 90, of Everett, WA died after an extended illness on November 18, 2012.
She was a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.
Muriel was born in Worthington, MN and grew up in the Bellingham, WA area, graduating from Sumas-Nooksak High School in 1940. She married Jack W. in 1948 and they moved to Everett. She was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Everett where she left many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W.; her parents; and her three brothers.
A very proud mother, Muriel is survived by her daughters, Jackie Rae, Barb (Kerry) Triboulet, and Sandy Palm. The lights of her life were her seven grandchildren, Eddie (Beryl), Becky (Patrick), Joni (Rad), Kim (Ryan), Sarah (Brian), Taylor, Katie; and six great-grandchildren, Lacey, Tiara, Jace, Braeden, Parker, and Reese. Her brother, Gene (Delores) Den Hartog of Bellingham, WA; and numerous nieces, and nephews also survive her.
Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2330 Lombard Ave., Everett, WA.
Muriel's family gives their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers of Emeritus at Seabrook Assisted Living in Everett for their loving and devoted care, and wishes to thank the Snohomish County Providence Hospice South County team for their comfort and assistance in her final days.
