Nancy Louise Holden

Nancy L. Holden, 67, passed away peacefully in her home after a nine month battle with cancer on Thursday, March 27, 2014 surrounded by family. Nancy is survived by her son, David (Terri) Holden; daughter, Kristina (Ty) Warren; four grandchildren: Brianna (Raul), Branden, Blake and Zachary; one great-grandchild, Lyliana, and an "adopted" granddaughter, Stephanie. She was preceded in death by her husband, David in 2007, who she looked forward to being reunited with. Special thanks to Visiting Angels, without which, we would have never been able to manage the last month. Nancy worked as the kitchen manager in various schools in Monroe for the last 30 years where she was known by thousands of kids as the "lunch lady". A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 starting at 3 p.m. at the Monroe Senior Center, 276 Sky River Pkwy, Monroe 98272. All who knew Nancy are welcome to attend. She will be missed dearly.
