Randi Anderson (Espedal)

Randi Anderson, 80, passed away May 9, 2011 at Bethany at Silver Lake. She was born August 3, 1930 in Aberdeen, WA to Albert and Bergit Espedal.
Randi grew up in Aberdeen, graduating from J.M. Weatherwax High School in 1948, where she became its FIRST Homecoming Queen in her senior year. She married Donald E. Anderson on October 22, 1949.
Randi went to school to learn how to decorate cakes and became very proficient at her trade. She worked at Albertsons as a cake decorator for many years. Randi was very artistic. She enjoyed painting, crocheting and knitting. She also enjoyed fishing and boating.
Randi was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on November 23, 1960. She enjoyed sharing her faith with others and her hope of someday living on a paradise earth.
Randi is survived by her children, Reginald (Janet) Anderson, Gary (Karen) Anderson, Shelly Anderson and Sonja West; grandchildren, Raymond, Laura, Jessica, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Joshua and Ashley; great-grandson, Wesley; brother, Bernard Espedal; sister, Ellen (Terry) Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; brother, Thor, sister, Barbara; and granddaughter, Amber.
The family would like to thank Randi's caretakers for their kindness and the caring attitude they showed toward Randi during her stay at Bethany at Silver Lake. The family would also like to express their thanks to all the friends for their support during this time.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 2 p.m., Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1002 13th St., Snohomish, WA.
A private family gathering will be held afterward.
