Richard A. Haddy Jr.

Richard A. Haddy Jr. passed peacefully from our sight on the morning of January 10, 2013 surrounded by his family and in their tender and loving care. Richard was 70 years.
Richard spent most of his professional life as a truck driver for Lee Grocery and the Boeing Company. His career was a source of pride to Richard.
Richard was a naval veteran of the Vietnam War era.
Richard's family's happiest memories of Papa include his huge warm bear hugs, his intense and beautiful blue eyes; and his desire and generous nature in helping to take care of his family and insure that they were taken care of. Richard was a friend of Bill W, for 29 years.
Richard is survived by his wife, Lois K. Haddy; his children, Crystal (Doug) Hogan and Michael (Ginny) Haddy; his grandchildren, Tonya Van Winkle, Nicole (Beau) Minnick, Mariah Haddy, Alana Haddy, Shea Haddy, and Ciara Haddy; his great grandchildren, Jesse Kedrowski, Raven Van Winkle, and Jackson Minnick; and his sisters, Shirley Booth, Joan (Jim) Duke and Bonnie Lee (Tim) Wandler.
The family wishes to thank Hospice of Snohomish County for the support and kindness to Richard and his family during his final days.
At Richard's request there will be no service, though we will always keep his memory in our hearts. If you wish to honor Richard's memory, a donation to Hospice of Snohomish County is suggested.
