Thomas Jefferson Gillmore III (T.J.), 64, passed away on the 9th of May 2013 at his home in Arlington, Washington. He was born on July 8, 1948 in Great Falls, Montana to
Thomas Jefferson Gillmore Jr. and Mary Manley Gillmore. T.J. was the son of an Air Force Warrant Officer and spent his childhood living in places like Great Falls, Montana, Okinawa, Japan, Dayton, Ohio, Corvallis, Oregon, Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, Madrid Spain, and Columbus, Mississippi. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Columbus in 1966. After high school he went to Mississippi State University. T.J. came to Washington State in 1970 and settled in Arlington.
In 1983 T.J. started his own company, RV Mobile Inc, a rebuilder of RV refrigerator ammonia absorption cooling units, and retailer of RV and propane refrigerators, service and parts. His good friend Fritz Long later joined him in the business.
T.J was a family man. He loved his wife and kids and his country home. T.J. was a big Seattle Seahawks fan. He enjoyed collecting stamps and had a massive DVD collection.
T.J. married Linda Westman in 1982 in Federal Way, Washington. They were happily married for 31 years.
T.J. was preceded in death by his parents,
Thomas Jefferson Gillmore Jr. and Mary Manley Gillmore.
T.J. is survived by his spouse, Linda Westman Gillmore of Everett; his sons, Anton Gillmore (Mary Nguyen) and Tommy Gillmore; daughter, Christa Gillmore; brothers, Jim Gillmore and Chris Gillmore; sister, Kimberly Gillmore; grandchildren, Peytin Gillmore, Michael Gillmore, Mayana Gillmore, Austin Gillmore, Anthony Huynh, Asia Huynh, Alex Gillmore, and Ameira Gillmore; nephew, Billy Bogert; and niece, Casey Bogert.
