W. Maxine McFadden

Maxine peacefully returned to the Lord May 18, 2013. She was born in Walla Walla, February 15, 1928. She grew up in Longview and graduated from Roosevelt High in Seattle. She married Gene in 1948.
After raising her family and working for Peoples Bank and WaMu, she retired and moved to the house on the lake in Manson where she volunteered at church and worked at the library part time.
Maxine loved spending time with family and friends, especially her great-grandsons, and supporting local theater and musical events since returning to the area in 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leif Rokke and Edith Clark; brothers, Calvin and Donald Rokke; and sister, Jane
Gillespie.
She is survived by her
sister, Lucille Clemens; husband, Gene; sons, Michael and Jeffrey (Judy); grand-daughters, Keely and Briana; great-grandsons, Deshaun Johnson and Roarey Schlicker; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Donations in her name to Breast Cancer and/or Parkinsons Disease research is appreciated by the family.
Thanks to all the caregivers that supported Maxine during her transition. She will be missed. We love her "past the sky."
