Walter "Bud" Jr. Krom, 80, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2013 at Providence Hospital, Colby Campus, Everett with loved ones by his side.
He leaves his wife,
Lorraine Krom; and sons and their families, Mickey Lee Krom (Linda) and granddaughter, Becky Krom,

(Kimberly) and granddaughter, C. Nicki Krom and her love, Adrian Monjes and grandson, Walter "Buddy" William Lee Krom; sisters and their families, Ruth Mellom and brother-in-law, Jerry, Carol De La Rosa, Joyce Wauzinsky and
Beulah Fuller; as well as
his beloved nieces and
nephews.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Crystal L. Krom, mother of his children; sister, Charlotte Campbell; and parents,
Walter and Viola Krom.
Bud worked for the City of Everett for 30 years, beginning by digging ditches by shovel, working his way up and retiring as the Superintendent of The City of Everett Water and Sewer Department in 1985. He also was the proprietor of Bud's Mini-Mart in the late 1960's in Everett and the Magnolia Tavern in Snohomish (1973-1980). Bud was a tireless worker, often working two jobs. After retirement he became a General Contractor building up his Real Estate Portfolio.
A man of Strength, Character and Integrity.
His family was always first and his second greatest joy in life was playing pool at his favorite places, breaking and running tables at The Cabin, Fireplace and Grove Taverns. He also had and will be missed by his many friends at the Village Restaurant in Marysville.
Bud lived a rich full life and he did it "His Way".
He was loved and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
Services and reception to be held at Solie Funeral Home on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2 p.m. Private family interment to be held at a later date at Cypress Lawn Cemetery, Everett.
