Nicholas Mirante Obituary

Nicholas (Nick) Vincent Mirante, 19, died suddenly on February 16, 2015, in Atlanta, Ga. He was born May 14, 1995 in Everett, Wash. to parents John and Lisa Mirante. Nick enjoyed playing fast whether it was by foot, tricycle, bike, rollerblades, skateboard, quad, and of course his car. He enjoyed playing sports, including soccer and baseball, hiking, going to the beach, which usually ended with a very large bonfire, and working on his car. Nick was an avid Seattle sports fan who loved the Seahawks, Mariners and Sounders and looked forward to the return of the Sonics. When relaxing he enjoyed his time with friends and family participating in activities including watching movies and documentaries, listening to music, playing video games, and just hanging out. Nick loved his family and friends dearly and was always willing to help, support and be there for them when needed. He often sacrificed his own well being for the benefit of others. Nick had a great smile and sense of humor, which were endearing traits to everyone around him. Future plans for Nick included helping others in need. Nick is survived by his parents, John and Lisa; sister, Jessica; paternal grandparents, Vincent and Willie Mirante; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Cecilia Woellhof; uncle and aunt, Steve and Angie Woellhof; his uncles, David Mirante and Christopher Mirante; niece, Audrianna Eskew; cousins, Amanda Mirante, Devin Woellhof, and Kailee Woellhof; great-grandmother, Marcia Matney; extended family and friends; and his dog ,Linus, aka Joseph. The Mirante family extends a special thanks to Lindsey Greinke who provided Nick with unconditional love and support over the last year. Memorial services will take place at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA, 98036 on March 1, 2015, at 12 p.m. All who wish to attend are invited. I very, very sorry to hear of Nicks passing and offer prayers and condolences to his family. I only met Nick once or twice during my tenure at G4 while he was helping out his dad, but it is enough to make this news all that more hurtful. I am very sorry for this loss.

May God dearly bless this family, as they Let go and Let Him take their sorrow. Hang a wind chime and listen to the voice of the wind, the breath of the Almighty as we all understand Him. Peace be with all of you..The chimes hold the sound of my own son's voice. God Bless

Nick, I would have had an extremely boring childhood if not for you. You were an endless provider of energy and entertainment and I'm proud of the years we spent as best friends. I wish we had been able to reconnect. No one has, or will ever, be able to take your place.

Nick I am so glad I met you even for the short time we had at Michaels House in Palm Springs. All the mornings playing cards and the laughs I will never forget. I want you to know that I am fighting this battle harder than ever for myself and also in your honor. You made a difference in my life and I am so proud to call you my friend. My condolences go out to your family that they find peace in their hearts. You will truly be missed my friend. Until we meet again someday.

My heart breaks for our family, especially your mom, dad, and sister. But I know you are finally and peace and Jesus is holding you in the palm of his hands and there is no more pain.
