Vera and Moser "Kids":
Boy, do I have a ton of childhood memories with Leo in them. He was always so happy and friendly to me. When Vera was my Campfire Girls leader Leo nicknamed me Pilchuck Julia. Everytime I saw him that is what he called me. Mt. Pilchuck is visible from my house, and when I look toward it I am reminded of Pilchuck Julia and Leo Moser! May God bless all of Leo's family and many friends, and give you comfort in the days ahead. He truly was one of the "good guys"!

I had the great good fortune to grow up in the house across the street from Vera and Leo. Their children were my playmates in the late 50's and early 60's. I always looked forward to Friday nights at the Mosers' house where we were all treated to huge bowls of popcorn and the ritual of watching The Flintstones. Leo had the most reliable tv in the neighborhood. Leo and Vera helped set the standard for a warm, welcoming neighborhood. When I had my own family, I patterned my relationships with my neighbors partly on the good example Leo and Vera showed to all of us. I will always treasure my early years and the constancy of friendship from those wonderful neighbors who lived just across the street. Thank you Mosers, for such great memories. I wish you all well. You had a great father, a gentle father. My prayers are with all of you.

Leo was one of the most humble and gracious gentlemen we ever met. You could always count on him for a warm smile and a friendly word. He will be sorely missed by all who were blessed with the gift of his friendship.

Leo and Vera, neighbors and friends to my family for over 30 years. I wish that all people could enjoy raising a family in their neighborhood. The first place to go show a Halloween costume and trick or treat, a warm and lovely place to visit, and a watchful eye teaching through their example of love of God, family, and friends, integrity, and true christianity-
Leo, my whole family will miss your warm smile and wave.
My warmest thoughts and prayers are with you, Vera.

Uncle Leo was a process person who looked up from whatever he was doing to be patient and kind with whomever needed his attention. In particular, he was playful with the many children in his life. He was a builder, a renovator and a gardener who not only kept things working but picked up after himself; with his Swiss precision that kept rhythm to an accordeon melody, he was every partner's dream mate. He grew berries and vegetables for decades. He had learned to do so when a boy in Sumner.
As a child, I delighted in his harvest and always ran into the yard to see what he had worked out with the earth. Now when I home garden, I think of him and wish I could bestow the tidy eveness of his garden upon mine. I wish I could hear a melody to keep me smiling and I would like to accept interruption from my work with an open heart, just as he did.

As a nephew-in-law of Leo's I am sincerely offering hy deeply felt condolences to his family at his passing to the next stage of his creation. Leo is one of the kindest men I have have ever met and he always touched my soul when he would ask me what he could get for me when I was barely into the door of his house. He will be greatly missed but will also be eternally loved.
