Wilma Greenfield Obituary

Wilma Talen Greenfield

Wilma Talen Greenfield, age 94, beloved mother of Barbara (Jon) Carlson, died peacefully on May 3, 2011 in Everett, WA.
Wilma, a long time resident of Snohomish County, was born in Princeton, MN November 18, 1916 and is pre-deceased by three brothers and two sisters.
She graduated from Ogilvie High School in 1932 and married Ralph W. Greenfield on February 12, 1936 in Pease, MN. With her husband, she owned many businesses in MN, OR and WA. Generously, in 1972, she donated a kidney to a niece at UCLA hospital.
After her husband's death in 1975, Wilma settled in Lynnwood and enjoyed her four grandchildren, Jon II, Lara, and Brent Carlson and Melissa (Bryon) Phillips; and her two great grandsons, Parker, 12, and Jackson, 9. Wilma is also survived by numerous, beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial ceremony is planned for Thursday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy on Pacific Avenue in Everett, WA.
Please make any remembrances to Muscular Dystrophy or Multiple Sclerosis.

All our love to a
great person.

What a wonderful neighbor and friend Wilma was to our family. To our kids she will always be "Noona." She will be missed.
