Dovie Darlene Pound

Dovie Darlene Pound, 71, passed away January 14, 2011 in Arlington, WA. She was born to Dale and Jessie Linebarger August 10, 1939. Dovie graduated from Rancho HS in 1957. After a tour in the U.S. Army, she worked as a cashier in the gaming industry until her retirement after 30 years. Dovie enjoyed knitting, beading, making dream catchers and going to yard sales. She was happy to help people all she could and had the most beautiful smile. Dovie loved her cats and being with her family. She was a very kind, affectionate and loving mother and grandmother who delighted in her grandchildren.
Preceding Dovie in death was her son, Steven Pound; and former spouse, Lester Pound; and her longtime companion, her cat, Baby.
Surviving her is her son, Richard Pound; siblings, Wesley "Jack" (Reida) Linebarger, Dale (Kris) Linebarger, Jerry (Chris) Linebarger, Charlene (Steve) Kron; grandchildren, Michael, Brittany and Tyler.
At Dovie's request no services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
