Barbara Lacy Obituary

Barbara A. Lacy
May 6, 1934 - May 24, 2011

Barbara A. Lacy, 77, of Marysville, WA passed peacefully at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, WA at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
She was born in Everett, WA and graduated from Everett High School in 1952. She continued on to Washington State in Pullman, WA.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Lorne Lacy; her children, Michael Lacy, Mark Lacy, Scott Lacy, Cher Vrieling, Stephen Lacy, Jim Martin and Bill Martin; her brother, Ron King; her sister, Linda Eastwood; her 14 grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was the heart of her family, and loved her husband, Lorne, and her kids very much! She prayed for them every night.
Barbara loved to make stained glass and participated in many arts and crafts shows where she made many friends. Then she made quilts for all her children and grandchildren, and even some for the veterans until her hands began shaking too much to continue. She was very talented at everything she decided to do.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who adored her family. She will be missed by all!
Services will be at Saint Mary's Church, 4200 88th Street NE, Marysville, WA on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 9:00 a.m., followed by gravesite service at 10:00 a.m. across the street at Marysville Cemetery. A reception will follow at Saint Mary's Church Parish Hall.
