Bertha Holmes

Bertha Holmes was born in Lowell, WA on September 16, 1918 to Mathias and Francis Jansha. She passed away on April 4, 2011.
She married Charles "Chub" Holmes, her childhood sweetheart and the love of her life. Bertha was a tireless worker who contributed to the founding of Jansha Tanning Company. In addition, she worked over 40 years for the Bargreen Coffee Co. in Everett, WA. Her real joy and passion was cooking and entertaining for family and friends.
She is survived by son, Mark Holmes; daughter, Marsha Warden; son-in-law, Michael Warden; and grandson, Charles Warden.
At her request no public service is planned.

We were terribly sorry to learn of the passing of Bert. She and Chub were wonderful friends for many years and we do miss them greatly. Please accept our condolences and know that Bert will be in our prayers.
