Charlotte Petty Obituary
Charlotte "Bessie" Chappell Petty
In 1949 she entered the Army Nurse Corps earning the rank of 1st LT. On returning from Korea in 1952 she married Albert W. Petty.
She is survived by her two sons, John Chappell Petty and Thomas Albert Petty; John's wife, Sharron; three grandchildren, Jamie, Jesse and Jackson; three step-grandchildren, Jonathan, Joslin and Katie; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Al; and her sisters, Francis Morton and Martha Smith.
Funeral Service to be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 29, 2011 at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, 804 State Avenue Marysville, WA 98270. It will be followed by burial at Granite Falls American Legion Cemetery.

Some of my fondest memories are with Charlotte and Al growing up. Your Mom was so much fun and always laughing and smiling. What a legacy. She will always be missed and thought of with love..thinking of you all. sandy marsh
