Dear Harry --

Well, it looks like you made it across The River first. I guess it was meant to be that you would help light the way for us to follow. Forgive me for only now learning of your passing, but Life took me to distant places, many years ago.

But it doesn't matter -- the world is still a colder and lonelier place without you and so many of our fallen brothers and sisters. I know you would greet me with that same big smile and friendly hug that I remember, just like no time had passed. We never had a single harsh word between us, even though we went many places together and had quite a few adventures in younger, wilder days. We always shared the unspoken bond of men who respect one another.

The River is much closer for many of us, these days. Keep a place near the fire for me, old friend, and see if you can find us a decent pool table.

I will pray for you, Harry, as I will for Evelyn and Vern and your children.

Goodbye, for now.

I had a dream with you in it, well I think it was you. I see it as a blessing. I'm pretty bad from remembering dreams but I could have swore that the person was you. It felt like that you were in my dream, it was one of the few nights that I slept fine throughout the whole night. Well I turned around and you were there. Then I started to walk closer to you , you disappeared. I just see it as a good sign that you are one our Guardian Angels. To everyone of who loves you and their loved ones. I miss you , no doubt about that. I wish I said this more but I love you. (:

Harry was a gentle giant of a man, lovingly offering encouragement to all his relatives and friends. I will always love him for supporting me in a time of great need. Harry always had time for a quick hug "Love ya, Cuz" and left me enveloped in his customary warmth. Thank you, Harry. Love you forever and always.
