Jane S. Matthews

Suddenly, at Providence Hospital on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, Jane S. Matthews passed away at 80 years.
She leaves, to cherish her memory, Gordon, her husband; her children, Grant, Blair (Colleene), Craig (Stacy); she also leaves her grandchildren, Scott, Eric, Nicole, Tim, Amanda, Brian; and great-grandchildren, Matea and Sawyer.
Jane was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1930. She moved to the United States in 1957. She later went on to work for Dr. Broberg's Dental Office as a Dental Assistant until her retirement in 1994.
Jane enjoyed volunteer work and was a lifetime member of the Salvation Army, member of the Steven Edenholm Orthopedic Guild; Marysville Garden Club; and Volunteer Literacy Program at Everett Community College. She also served in many capacities at the Marysville First Baptist Church over a span of 44 years.
A funeral service and reception will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 23 at Marysville First Baptist Church, 4011 81st Place NE. Marysville, WA.
