Madge Jones Obituary


Madge Jones

Madge Jones was born on May 9, 1926. After a long battle with Alzheimer's, Madge passed away on March 27, 2011 at the age of 84 due to complications from her disease.
Madge was born in Lemmon, SD and later moved to Marysville, WA where she wed her husband, Arnold Jones, whom precedes her in death. Madge is also preceded in death by her son, Gary Jones, and seven siblings.
Madge is survived by her son Warren Jones (Susan) and children Jason Jones and son, Connor Jones; Sandy Richardson (Shawn); and Sarah Jones; daughter Margie Wells (Scott), and children Angie Wells, Todd Wells (Amanda) son Trent Wells; and Kyle Wells; and son David Jones (Lynda), children Aimie Jones, Airron Meyer (Jamie) and children Haedyn Meyer and Hudsyn Meyer; and Lisa Jones. She is also survived by her brother Glen Gilman (Gertrude) of St. George, UT, in-laws Edna Gilman of California, Verna Jones of Marysville, WA, and Tom Kirby of South Dakota.
Madge had a long, fulfilling life with her family and friends. She enjoyed baking, shopping, and spending time with her loved ones. She and Arnie enjoyed fishing and traveling together in their motorhome. Often days, you would find Madge outside gardening and conversing with neighbors. She also enjoyed staying active and was involved in TOPS for many years.
We give special thanks for the wonderful care she received at Linda's AFH during her final months.
At her request, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.

Warren,David,Margie and Family,
We are so sorry to hear about your mothers passing. There was never a time that I did not feel welcome at your home as a kid. Even when we where getting in trouble, Madge was always patient and understanding. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and I hope you can take comfort in knowing that she is with Arnie and Gary again.
